Set in the Cambridgeshire countryside surrounded by our children, horses, and the rhythm of country life, our Cocker Spaniels and Cockapoos are part of the family first — and it shows in their gentle, affectionate natures.
Beau Lodge Stud is run by Joanne, whose lifelong passion for animals and country living shapes everything we do. As a hands-on mum, horse rider, and dedicated dog owner, Joanne has built Beau Lodge around the values of kindness, patience, and responsible breeding. Dogs have always been at the heart of family life here, growing up alongside children, horses, and the day-to-day routines of a busy home. Joanne believes that the best puppies are raised with real experiences — plenty of love, gentle guidance, and a calm, nurturing environment that allows their personalities to shine.
Our vision is to breed happy, healthy companions who leave us confident, well-balanced, and ready to become a treasured part of another family’s story. Every litter is thoughtfully planned with health, temperament, and long-term wellbeing at heart. We DNA test all of our breeding dogs to support responsible breeding choices and to help give our puppies the healthiest possible start in life. From their very first days, our puppies experience real family life — the sounds, routines, and warmth that help shape them into calm and adaptable dogs.

At Beau Lodge Stud, we have created a calm, loving environment where our dogs and puppies are truly part of the family. Everything we do is centred around their wellbeing, comfort, and happiness, ensuring each puppy has the very best start in life.
Our dogs are never kept in kennels. Instead, they live alongside us in our home, sharing daily life as part of the family. Whether it’s relaxing on the sofa, spending time with our children, or simply being around everyday household activity, they are raised in a natural, home environment that helps shape confident, well-socialised dogs.
Alongside our home, we have a purpose-built, heated building designed for both adult dogs and puppies. This provides a warm, safe, and comfortable space all year round, giving flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Set within 5 acres of secure land, our dogs have the freedom to run, play, and explore every day. Exercise and outdoor time are an important part of their routine, supporting both their physical health and mental wellbeing.
Our puppies have access to both indoor and outdoor areas, allowing them to explore safely while building confidence. They also enjoy time in our fully enclosed dog garden, a secure and stimulating space for play, socialisation, and early development.
From the very beginning, our puppies are gently introduced to everyday life. They spend time with children, experience normal household sights and sounds, and are handled regularly, helping them grow into happy, well-adjusted companions ready for their new homes. All of our dogs live together in a calm, social environment where they are treated as part of the family.
We place a strong emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene, maintaining a consistent cleaning routine across all areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment at all times. Our dogs are fed on carefully selected, high-quality food to support their health, development, and overall wellbeing.
Safety is always a priority. Our outdoor areas are fully enclosed, and CCTV is in place to provide additional peace of mind, ensuring our dogs are always safe and secure.
